Pilates

The Pilates Method is a series of low impact exercises, targeting muscles in the abdominal region, back, shoulder girdle, hips and pelvic floor. These exercises are designed to elongate and strengthen the muscles that support good posture, laying the foundation for a strong core, which is often overlooked in typical workout programs.

Restoring the vital balance between muscular strength and flexibility to the body is one of Movement Training’s core missions. When this balance is achieved and correct posture attained, the client can reach new levels in their fitness goals. GYROTONIC®

The GYROTONIC® method is an unique form of physical training composed of spiraling, circular movement that restores range of motion to the joints of the body while building strength and flexibility. Through this movement, clients gain improved posture, greater ease of movement and an overall increased sense of well-being. With its roots in Yoga, Tai Chi and Chi Gong, it’s the perfect supplement to anyone’s existing exercise routine.

Pre- & Post- Natal Conditioning

Pre- and post-natal conditioning provides support for the specific and unique fitness needs of women during and after their pregnancies. Common issues, such as lower back discomfort, Pyriformis Syndrome, upper back tension and the weakening of abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, are addressed in a nurturing environment. As a certified Birthing Doula, Adrienne loves to help women prepare for the birth of their child, understanding that every woman’s pregnancy is different and special.

Birthing Doula

For those pre-natal clients who choose to give birth naturally, Adrienne is there to provide the physical and emotional support so often needed during a woman's labor and birthing experience.

Living & Eating Healthy

Every body is unique and has different nutritional needs. And healthy eating plays an important part in maintaining a strong, well-conditioned body.

 Although she doesn't subscribe to any one particular program, Adrienne believes that eliminating certain foods and emphasizing others can dramatically help you achieve your health and fitness goals. With Adrienne’s guidance, you can explore what good nutrition means and what steps to take to create a healthier lifestyle.
